Who are we?

Britbet are a partnership set up by the majority of British racecourses to provide betting services to the racecourses. We sell 'Tote’ branded bets to racecourse customers as a key part of the race day experience at 55 Racecourses across the country.

Who are we looking for?

​

We are looking for Customer Service Assistants to join our Betting team, covering all public areas, including restaurants and hospitality areas. We're looking for enthusiastic people to join the team at Cheltenham Racecourse and surrounding racecourses, and you could be one of them!

​

​

· Applicants must be 18+

​

· Excellent customer service skills - 1+ year experience required

​

· Ability to work with cash confidently/good mental arithimetic - experience is desirable

​

· Confident speaking to the general public

​

· Drivers/keen travelers are ideal

​

· No prior betting experience needed as paid training is provided

​

​

​

What does the role entail?

​

· You will place the customer bets on our computer terminals/tills

​

· Scanning and paying out winnings to customers who present a winning ticket

​

· Providing an excellent level of customer service with each interaction

​

· Handling cash effectively and cashing up your float at the end of each race day

​

· Talking to customers about their day, betting odds and non-runners etc (this is displayed on your screen) - going the extra mile to provide a pleasant, helpful experience for all

​

· Hourly holiday pay can be accrued or paid out monthly based on your preference
